    for real smart people ????? esspecially in math :)?

    if i see something in a picture and i dont know the actual size in inches and i want to know the size of it in inches how do i do that ?

    for example if i see a picture of a building and in the picture and i want to know the actual size and in the picture it the measure was 1 and 1/2 inches what is the actual size of the building

    You find something in the picture that you do know the size of, or that you can estimate the size of. Then you divide its actual size by its size in the picture wo get the scale, and multiply the size in the picture of the object you want to know the size of by whatever number you get.

    Don't forget to convert everything into the same units.

    This won't be exact, but you'll get a ballpark figure.
