Since the forum seems to be in a little groove or rating banRAB...what does everyone think about Cradle of Filth. I know there are massively mixed opinions about them out there.

I personally think they are amazing. Talent-wise I think its only slightly above average, but Dani can scream like no other. And the lyrics are the best thing about the band. Dani is an amazing lyricist. If you dont know the band, look for the lyrics from the album Damnation and a Day. Its about the old testament and the rise and fall of early religion. Its amazing.

Obviously on these forums, everyone is a moron for anything you like. People are always gonna hate.
If I had to pick up a cd to listen to, I wouldn't pick up Cradle of Filth. But I guess I can't totally hate them.

Not really. They were good five years ago, but all the publicity has gotten to Danny's head. They still make good music, but that guy thinks he's a god or something. (I know they dont' believe in god, its a figure of speech. You know what I mean.)
