Next to Judas Priest and Iron Maiden they are one of THE quintessential Heavy Metal banRAB. Spinal Tap based there idea on them. They have been going since 1979 and I fucking love them!

Everything they do screams of cliche but there is something utterly endearing about Saxon that still keeps me interested to this day.
