Velvet Revolver

That's exactly what I think. Velvet Revolver isn't anything particularly original or groundbreaking, but they make good solid hard rock. My fav song from Contraband was Superhuman, because of the bass groove in the middle. Very simple, but quite groovy.

I haven't checked out their new album and I don't feel compelled to, but when I do give it a listen, I'm hoping it will be as solid as Contraband was.

New album's called Contraband... I'm seeing pretty good reviews but it's still pretty $$ for a cd... waiting till Manila to buy it cuz it's cheaper.

Video clip was kinda whacked... the dude from Stone Temple is a bit strange if you ask me... still I like Slither. Good song and some pretty good riRAB there.

Because they're just another generic modern rock band that, in my opinion, gets way more credit than they deserve because a few of the merabers used to be in Guns N' Roses.

that's because people were expecting a supergroup instead of a old drug addict band with half the talent and drive of GNR.

I like them because its finally GnR without Axl. hehe Although the Stone Temple Pilots vocalists looks like a malnourished pale worm in the video. I do like them.

VR are terrible, and their songs suck. I expected much more from this band. Axls new stuff is much better.

If they did not have Slash on guitar, I would agree. He does liven them up a lot.

Slither was fantastic so i went out and bought the album on the strength of that one song. ****e. the only decent song on it is slither. Look out on ebay. You'll see my copy very soon

I didn't like GnR, but Velvet Revolver is awesome! I highly reccomend buying Contraband
