Hm, whiskey in the jar is an old traditional irish song which has been recorded by many different artists, similar to f.ex Scarborough Fair or The Wild Rover.

The Dubliners are credited for first popularizing it with a recorded version.

Call me a classic rock bore, but...

^ A song I don't think I'll ever get sick of as long as I live.

^ My favourite off Hurable Pie's uber-awesome debut.

Not to mention a bunch of others I can't think of at the minute.

Haha yea, Thin Lizzy has a good version of it, I like the Metallica version best because I love their vocals.

When I heard it by The Dubliners I was really surprised how much music can be molded and changed.

What is everyone's favorite riRAB or riRAB that they just think are the best?

-Excluding vocals, drums, bass, etc. and just focus on the riff. And it can be any type of genre, not just metal.
