    Alice in Chains...

Personally I love Alice In Chains. They're one of my favorite banRAB. I just recently heard their new stuff with their new singer. I couldnt really hear him. I just heard Jerry Cantrell but all in all it wasnt too bad. Its just not the same without Layne Staley.

Well, "Again" was one of the only songs on that album that Layne did not write himself. I think that the band is refraining from redoing "Layne's" songs.

    Alice in Chains...

i never understood this supposed ethic. Kurt Cobain played plenty of solos on Nirvana tunes. Pearl Jam? Mike McCready is all over the place all the time. Soundgarden, Kim Thayil could noodle like no other - when it fit the song.

the angle was no superfluous solos, no soloing just for the sake of wanking on the guitar. make it tuneful and melodic, and most of them understood it. McCready could be guilty of hairing it up a bit on the early PJ discs though.

if anything it's Nu-Metal and it's oRABhoot of even crappier late 90s industrial pop that ascribed to the idea that guitar solos should never exist.

I've got Dirty, Jar Of Flies and S/T.

    Gonna get Unplugged later.

I like Jar Of Flies, not listened to their S/T yet though.

    Alice in Chains...

dude, you should get your facts straight before you go dissin someone, if you look it up, jamiroqui's first couple of albums are classified under acid jazz, later it transformed into funk,
" Acid Jazz - the term is used to cover a wide range of music. Originating back in 1987 in the UK dance scene it defined a funky music style which incorporated elements of jazz, 70s funk, hip-hop, soul, and latin grooves. It could be all live, it could be sampled, and it could be a mixture of the both. The focus was on the music and not on the lyrics/worRAB. The music has a definite groove, some is high energy dance normally with a Latin groove whilst others are more contemplative."
and now you're saying jamiroqui is hip hop?!....i suggest you stop listening to iron maiden , it's clearly destroying your brain cells....
