Will more be done to protect the environment under the Obama administration?

Good riddance, George W. Bush. You oil executive. Eight years of choking the environment in air and water pollution. How many more days left of Mr. Disaster? Anyway, now that Obama will be our next President, will things begin to turn around for the environment? Will more attention be paid to Global Warming? Will Americans forget about trying to get the biggest SUV on the road and purchase cars that are compact and fuel efficient? Will consumers and shareholders demand that corporations have more accountability for the environment?

You are a hypocrite if you heat your house. In fact there is CO2 coming out of you as we speak. There is only one thing for an honorable leftist to do. Do your part. Don't blame it on just Americans or oil executives.

most likely, but he's going to pull the money out of our (the tax payer's) ass (as all democrats do).
& as much as I believe global warming is just a myth now, because it's scientifically proven we're headed for another ice age (& Al Gore's little movie was a bunch of B.S.).
Obama won't do anything about the "go green" crap, accept for putting someone else in charge of it & make us (the tax payers) pay for it.
kiss your well earned dollar goodbye

USA is the prime contributor to create environmental pollution, because they are highly emitting carbon di-oxide through industries.
So they have to take steps to solve these problems. But their budgets are as usual for environmental safety. Obama won't be a person to bye-pass the predecessor's talent . Simply he asks the scientists to innovate tech. and ask the industrialists to adopt it. He asks other countries to follow their environmental technology. GREEN TECHNOLOGY.
