And did Albert Einstein create the atomic bomb or the hydrogen bomb?
In theory a fission bomb, atom bomb, could be made very powerful but in real systems, it is not possible to contain the material to 0 match the energy of the most powerful fusion bomb, a hydrogen bomb. An atom bomb, fission bomb, is used to provide the ignition for the hydrogen bomb, fusion bomb.
There is no answer to that question. In general, kiloton yield from hydrogen bombs tend to be larger, but you can make a more substantial detonation from a fission bomb than a small fusion bomb.
There is more energy liberated through the fusion of light elements to heavier elements (greater mass change/loss) than there is by cutting large elements into smaller ones.
AE did not create the bombs. Oppenheimer helped with that. But his theories laid the foundation for the bombs.
A hydrogen bomb is stronger. A hydrogen (fusion) bomb contains an atomic (fission) bomb.
