As I've worked and played with electronics all through my life, I've constantly seen the letters RU on huge numbers of components. I very much doubt there's an electronic device that DOESN'T have an RU component in it, yet I can find no concrete information on who or what exactly RU is ? google revealed a myriad of small to medium sized company's around similar names but none of them sport the familiar RU logo.

I'm just curious to know who this company is given their products are abundant...
