I am probably the only one who likes 'One Hot Minute' the most. Coffee shop (hence the name) and Warped are my favourites. Mother's Milk and Californication I like a lot too bar a couple of songs on each.

I like parts of BSSM like 'I Could Have Lied', 'Suck My Kiss' and 'Naked in the Rain' but some of it is just annoying.

The new album is pretty good but some of the slow stuff gets a bit boring and the album just seems to be in a random order. 'Torture Me', 'Turn it Again' and 'She's Only 18' are the picks for me.

I'm going to see them in July, hopefully they'll put up a good set.

I like how you tell him to list an example...and he does...and you say that. Anyway I don't think he's a very good lyricist either. People go on about him being "real" but being real doesn't mean shit when it isn't written very well. "Slitting my throat is all I ever had?" "Under this bridge downtown I gave my life away?" give me a break, I could open up any thirteen year olRAB diary and read something equally poignant.

Don't get me wrong I love Flea's bass and I can appreciate good music even if it has bad vocals but there is just something about their earlier stuff that I find extremely irritating.

Don't call me out on this, but I think Faith No More was around at much the same time as RHCP. But yes, they both influenced nu-metal - and Billy Gould's basslines especially show in Korn.

Most musicians (perhaps mostly frontmen) look like tools eventually. Can't really fault them, though. They constantly have to take press photos to promote the band, and they're not always going to look natural/candid. It may look cool to one person, and look like they're trying too hard to someone else.

In the early 90s I thought he was a badass...loved his look. I certainly don't feel the same way now but also wouldn't say he's a tool any more than other well known singers.

The Chili Peppers are great. Blood Sugar Sex Magik is easily one of the greatest albums of all time.
