I know it's been said before but Welcome Home is sheer genius. That song made me like that band, after that, I simply fell for them

I've grown into liking this cd. I originally hated it.
bleh i dunno hat it is about blood red summer that i deteste maybe the general punchy poppyness of the song or the way he pronounces the chorus "a-come what ha-may" that just realy ****ing grinRAB me down. all in all its just simple punchy erm.....bleh. nothing of appeal that i can find and bits and bobs that irritate me about it, just enough so that i may dub it a pile of bollocks
Yea, I heard it the other day and wasn't very impressed. All Coheed albums are so diverse though, so you cant base it on just one song. When TFOT gets back from Europe, they're going on a tour that Coheed is headlining.
I just bought "The Second Stage Turbine Blade" a few months ago.
I started with "Good Apollo." The album will always be close to my heart.
Claudio's vocals are unique. During some songs, they can get fairly obnoxious. But his voice isn't really that high all of the time. During live performances, he often has to switch octaves to a lower one.
Coheed is great. they are very tight live, and they put on a good show. My band has a chance to open for them at the Congress Theater in Chicago on May 1st, and we are really exited to have the opportunity to play with such a great band!
