Since Alter Bridge is basically Creed w/o Scott Stapp, and Scott Stapp created the sound that put Creed on the map, obviously Creed is better.

Nah, bro. It has nothing to do with that, and everything to do with which band has the better songs. So that ought to be the focus.
A song can be good, but w/o a strong voice to sing it all you've got is a nice little poem. But Creed did have better songs than Alter Bridge. I still get chills every time I hear "My Own Prison."
Wow...that really is just Creed with a different singer. O.O...surprisingly it did nothing for me.:\
I hate it when banRAB change singers, it never works out...at least they had the decency to change the name...
I wonder what happened to Stapp...:|
Thats is not true at all. Some of the best pieces of music in history have been instrumental. I think quality playing does more than any voice ever could.
Dude, you live in Bucketheadland.
You aren't allowed to have an opinion.
I don't know why I know this I probably just do because it was in the press for awhile. Basically Stapp was/is a douchebag and the band got sicked of it and broke off and formed Altar Bridge and left him to running around singing Creed songs by himself. The singer was in some other band before this, with like Four in their name I think or something about weather I don't really remeraber. There was also something about Stapp not letting the band have enough control, particularly Tremonti (sp?) he wasn't allowed to do a bunch of solos or some ****.
Hey this is my first Thread..
Creed or Alter Bridge.. Who do you think is better and why.
I like both banRAB but Alter Bridge does it for me...
I like Myles Kennedy's voice more than Scott Stapp.
And i think Tremonti plays better in Alter Bridge aswell
Oh God that's sad.
I was obviously referring to lyrics. W/o a strong voice the LYRICS to a song are nothing more than a nice lil poem. What good would a strong voice to in an instrumental
