^ Death is This Communion is an awesome record, but it's their most melodic and polished, in fact a couple of songs on that are actually heart-felt (Ethereal), which after listening to their previous, sludge-fests, I never thought they'd be capable of this. "The Art of Self- Defense" is a little more complex and proggy. Baroness reminRAB me a little of Mastodon and Isis, so they may be worth checking out.

I listened to bits of what Mojo recommended but nope, metal still isn't doing it for me. Other than Black Sab my Metal listening is quite low. Why doesn't metal have banRAB that are appealing as them? And aren't well, shit.

I like Gojira and Meshuggah. I hate growly vocals for the sake of it, but I love Gojiras vox because they work so well.

Where do you recommend I take my search for teh brutal methul based on this information?
