I'm interested in purchasing a S4R Testrastretta Ducati motorcycle?

now my question is i have no idea of a general price plus how much would insurance be? I think i might vary with the insurance you already have, but im not sure. I want to become an avid biker i know that is certainly not he ideal beginners bike but i would like to save up and puchase one. Any advice wit insurance or ducati deals, hints and tips would be greatly appreciated thank you for all who answer :3

The MSRP: was $12,995 in 2007. Insurance depends on many factors, age, driving record, experience, etc...

I'm in my 50's and pay $75/year for a sport bike and a dual sport. But if you are in your teens, or early twenties, insurance might cost $2000+/year.

You should buy a cheap entry level bike to learn to ride and take a motorcycle safety class before you buy a 900cc bike.
