Well, I liked TOH IV (Homer sells his soul for a donut, gremlin on the side of the bus, Mr. Burns is a vampire), and I loved TOH VI (statues come to life, Willie kills everyone in their nightmares, Homer enters the 3-D world). That is by far my favorite.
Last night's episode was pretty good compared to the one's in recent years. Actually, I really enjoyed it until the last few minutes of the very last story, the fantastic voyage one. I really could have done without seeing Homer expand in Mr. Burns' body and then have them dancing together in the end. That was just...disturbing. It's even worse than Homer laying an egg or killer dolphins on land, or a weird alien thing that keeps throwing up. So I suppose, I'll just try to pretend like those last couple minutes didn't happen.
I know, I can't wait to see that episode.
October 7, 2004 -- HIDE the kiRAB — "The Simpsons" annual "Treehouse of Horror" is back Nov. 7.
from here
Don't read the info below if you don't want to be spoiled.
:spoiler:
In this year's 15th edition, which as usual airs a week after Halloween, Lisa and Bart take on a Jack-the-Ripper style serial killer loose in Victorian London in "Four Beheadings and a Funeral."
Meanwhile, baby Maggie is shrunk down into a pill and swallowed by Mr. Burns. The family tries to rescue her a la "Fantasic Voyage," but Homer gets trapped FOREVER inside his boss' belly.
And in "The Ned Zone," Ned Flanders gains the power to see people's deaths.
:spoiler:
Was there ever a single TOH where all three stories were good?
I thought that last night`s Treehouse of Horror was pretty good. It was definitely a step up from most of the other ones in recent seasons, but isn`t great enough to be a classic. "Four Beheadings and a Funeral" was my favorite out of the three stories.
Can't wait to watch it tonight!
You did!
