They should be carrying it on. It was pretty popular and could deal with a new plotline.

I know its around 20+ episodes, so none would really call it short, but then, it just feels so...short!!! >.
I like to watch it from time to time
its just so good
Seriously...this is a great anime. This is one of those I can watch over and over. Most the 23 minute storys in each episode could EASILY in themselves take up 13 episodes. The storys are so well told, and its so interesting to see Ginkos point of view, he views mushi as niether evil or good. They just are, and they just survive. Its one of those that is a must watch in my book.
I remeraber watching it and thinking what a great show it was. It was lowkey and beautiful, but never got to finish it.
I finally purchased the boxset.
I cant wait to see it on my new 42 inch
I have seen it all but its very very good and captivating. There is none to compare it to. Will go down as one of the greatest.
I've watched it... and I suppose it is the one of the best anime. It has the artistic value cose the graghic is a perfect work of art... the lanRABkapes were so bright and the atmosphere was really mystical. It made a good impression on me. But at the same time I noticed that not the main heroes are similar I mean there faces....
Mushi-shi was decent. Some of the writing for the episodes was amazing, but some episodes kind of dragged in my opinion. I wouldn't re-watch it, but it was good the first run.
I remeraber watching this when it was coming out and thinking it was amazing. For some reason or another I ended up dropping it, but definetly going to have to pick it up again.
It was a really beautiful anime and almost poetic at times. It was certainly very atmospheric and had some great stories about the mushi/human interaction(some of which were quite sad). Ginko was a pretty cool protagonist.
