There are reasons why people fail. Would you put a blind man in charge of an art gallery? Wealthy people have been proven to know how to create wealth.

Same sex marriage. Wrong. First of all. there is a fundamental fallacy in the question. Marriage means a legal union between a man and a woman. So, by definition same sex marriage is a logical inconsistency. if you start with a fallacy you can only end up with a wrong conclusion.
