Hi,

I'm really, really stuck with 3 homework questions about logs.

Firstly, you have to find x in terms of a where a>0 and a is not equal 100:

for a^x=10^(2x+1)

and also for 2log(2x)=1+loga

I've just got stuck half way through which makes me think I'm going about these two the wrong way.

The other one is given the simultaneous equations:

2^x=3^y
x+y=1

show that x=log3/log6

Past substituting y from the second equation into the first, I'm a bit stuck.

Many, many thanks and I'd be really grateful for any help,

Matt. Ireland
