My friend gave me her old phone and when i put my sim card in it it says "Check Sim"
why won't it work and can someone please tell me how to to do it

GuestHI if you friends phone is locked with cingular then it wont accept AT&T sim card until you unlock it ..You can easily unlock your phone using sites like Prounlocking.com here they are rendering unlock code for all mobile models at reliable cost ..After unlocking your phone you can freely use it with AT&T or any other GSM sim ..
