Right, so here's the problem. For Christmas, I got an iPhone 3GS; second hand. My uncle gave it to me, thinking it used to be his, but apparently not. Anyway, I went to unlock the phone, put my '3' sim in, and it searched for a while, then said, "no service". I went back to the shop that I went to, to unlock my phone, and they said that the phone may or may not be reported stolen, or just inactive. Rang my uncle, and asked where he got the phone from, and he hesitated.. So, I dunno. Anyway, when I went to unlock the phone, the people at the shop told me NOT to switch off the phone, however, mother dearest took it out of the charging plug thing, and it ran out of battery. Had to go back to the shop, and they reset the phone to factory settings? Now when I switch on the phone, it goes into the "plug into itunes" mode, and "insert sim". See, now because the phone seems to be completely locked, and when I put an Orange sim in, it doesn't recognise it. WHAT CAN I DO? HELP?
Thanks!
Thanks for the answer, but I am in the UK. Will this work?
