anyone drive an 05 dodge neon and have a infant car seat behind passenger seat?

I have a 05 dodge neon and i was wondering if anyone knows what the best infant car seat is to fit behind the passenger seat of my car. I have a 2 year old who will have to be behind drivers seat (my husband usually drives and he has to have it all the way back bc hes really tall) ive researched and the smallest infant car seat i can find is the chicco key fit 30 as far as its measurements. Im not really concerned with the price of the seat.. i just was wondering which seat fits behind passenger seat so that i dont have to have my seat adjusted all the way to the dash.... (my husband and i are pretty tall and we have to have the seat atleast halfway scooted back. ) Any help would be appreciated ! thanks bunches!!!

I have a dodge neon... and all I can say is good luck finding one to fit! The only place I can put my son is the middle, which I prefer him there... but when my friends go with me and have their kids there's no way of fitting another car seat in my car so we have to take theirs... Ive honestly never tried putting my son on the passenger or driver side... but like I said the others wouldn't fit without the seat being up as far as it would go. You can always take your car to the store and buy the car seat and try it out, we had to do that with our convertible car seat, because it's rear facing still... luckily it fit and I didn't have to take it back... can you try putting the baby in the middle... both of my sons car seats fit in the middle, but it was kind od in between the 2 front seats if that makes sense? if there's no way of putting him in the middle then just do what you did research the smallest seat, buy that one and if it doesn't git you might either have to go with the middle, or just sit with your knees in the dash! I'm getting a new car for that exact reason and I'm counting down the days!

I used to have a errr 98 Neon, so I'm not sure its entirely the same BUT the Evenflo Triumph Advance took up way less space than the Alpha Omega/Costco/Eddie Bauer (all the same seat). It is a bit wider though. As far as infant only seats the Graco was smaller than the convertibles but I have no idea what model it was.

I know the Sunshine Radian is the narrowest seat on the market.

Sadly no one publishes how much room a carseat takes from back of the backseat to the back of the baby seat when rear-facing.

Is this a two door or a four door? If a two door then it will be hard to find one but if it's a four door then generally most carseats will fit. I would suggest going to babiesrus they will let you try it out (at least that is what I have been told). Good luck.
