    Bike Riding for Fitness?

    I have started riding my bike lately because i heard my ankle or calf or something like that and i can't run, Im doing a combined total of 15m over 2 even sessions most days and at least 5km each day. Some up hill some down Is this improving my fitness or not. Should i continue

    so does that mean you are cycling to and from work. yes that is good but there is no substitute for a good long workout at the weekend. i mountain bike for a good 4 hours and sometimes do a 60 mile off road route.
