Thread: 2002 Dodge Neon Engine Light on?

I have a 2002 dodge neon. I have never had any problems with the car until now. Lately the engine light keeps coming on. First I let a family friend look at it and he couldn't find anything wrong other than I needed a oil change. He proceeded to take it to auto Zone. The computer Kept saying something about transmission fluids being either low, low quality, or a wire isn't connected . How much does it cost to have transmission fluid changed? Any ideas on what else cound be wrong with it just in case the the computer was just wrong.

i dont know how the cumputer can check fluid quality, but its a good idea to have it changed at 30,000 miles. just a gues but i think around 69.00 to change? Also, use only ATF+4 fluid.
