Currently I'm using a DOCOMO SIM card in my cellphone, and it's package says that it has a "lifetime" validity. I have kept the number with a 0.0 INR balance for days and days and could still receive incoming calls. Is it because of the lifetime validity?
And I now I plan to move to BSNL and the package which I plan to take does not specify any lifetime validity. Does this mean that I will have to regularly recharge my cellphone balance on a "validity expiry" (e.g. 30 days) even when I already have some balance in my phone??? Someone please kindly explain this thing in detail as I couldn't find any source of information for this and I need to change my number soon.
Thanks in advance.
