Here's the deal, I'm not sure what I should do now, regarding this guy I really like. Here's the deal, I met this guy named Jake at homecoming, After that I asked him out to get coffee, we did, after the whole coffee thing we just kind of talked after school as we walked to the bus, so my friend had hte bright idea of having me ask him to the sweethearts dance, which I did, but he said he couldn't go because he had already been asked. He was very polite and sweet about it. (: He also said he would have gone with me if he hadn't been asked.So I was wondering, what should I do now? Should I just keep talking to him? I'm alright with him saying he can't go. Granted, I had a cry about it, but my hormones are raging, so I'm welcome to that.

hahaha i love how chicks constantly over think everything... ok hunny listen you need to just relax.. the thing about dating is that it should be fun.. if you like Jake then talk to him, if he flirts with you and had a good time when you guys went out then keep talking.. the thing is to win him over you need to become more appealing to him... im sure he likes you.. but if he has other girls asking him to dances then you have compition and you have to step it up... honestly guys love it when girls are agressive, but jsut make sure that you aren' to the point where it comes off as desperate... and make little sexual joking gestures... guys love those.. just keep talking, keep flirting, dont worry about the dance, step it up, and just have fun with it

Well... he pretty much said that he likes you since he said he would go with you... So yeah, I would keep talking to him. It would be silly to stop talking to him just because he has a previous commitment.
