Okay so i have a Amd Phenom ii x3 720 with the stock the 3 cores. I Decided to try and unlock the fourth core after doing some research to see if it would crash or not with my motherboard. Luckily it said my motherboard wouldn't cause a problem and that i could run with the fourth core unlocked unless the fourth core was faulty on my cpu. So i went into the bios and enabled ACC to auto which was suspose to unlock the fourth core, but when i start my computer it still shows im running 3 cores instead of 4 in cpu-z and when i start up my computer. Does that mean that my 720 just doesn't have a 4th core, or does it mean that the 4 core is just trashed and unable to be used? I thought i heard somewhere that all 720's have the 4th core so shouldn't mine have it aswell?
Any help would be greatly apperciated!
I also read that cpu-z and other programs might not show that the 4th core is unlocked even though it may be.
