Major iPhone 3GS problem?!?
Ok, let me break this down nice & easy...
My sis gave me her brand new iPhone; I played with it for a couple minutes then the battery died so I charged it. Next thing U know, the iPhone has the USB & iTunes logo and won't turn on.
I tried hooking it up to iTunes so it can be recognized, I even upgraded iTunes and nothing worked.
I put it in recovery mode and I succeeded with that, but I tried to restore it a billion times & all I get is "It is not eligible" or "'iTunes detected a problem 1015"
I tried putting it out of recovery mode, didn't work.
I thought maybe if I could try to restore it without updating that would work but I don't know what the software is on the iPhone (I can't check now) and it is not jailbroken.
I tried putting it in DFU mode, I did the whole 'Device Support' folder thing in the iTunes library folder.
Bottom line, what do I do?
How do I restore it or get it out of recovery mode so that it works?
Ahh! 5 hours later & i'm going crazy!
