can i re-unlock my iPhone after DFU restore?

my iphone 3gs was unlocked and jailbroken, but one day i tried to turn it on and it was stuck on the apple logo, and evey time i tried to reset it it would get stuck in the same place. i did a DFU restore and now the phone is no longer unlocked (i am not with the original carrier so this is a problem). i was told that it may not be possible for the phone to be re-unlocked once it is restored, i just want to know if this is true or not. the phone has/had the latest software.

I suggest you can approach Mobileunlocksolutions.com and specify the country, locked network of iPhone3GS.Based on the availability you can get the permanent remote unlock service along with free instructions.
