I posted a previous question asking for ideas for my poem I am required to write for my senior exit project, about my career.

The details are:
- A 32 line poem, on anything relating to veterinary medicine (my career)
- The uses of a simile, metaphor, personification, and alliteration. One for each.

So far, this is all I've got:

They say eyes are the window to the soul,
Just one look and you’ll know
Everything that words can’t say
My job is to heal, my job is to know
My patients can’t speak, can’t request my help
Can’t tell me where it hurts, they’re quiet as a mouse
Those eyes, those windows, tell me when I’m wrong
Tell me where to go
Tell me what they can’t say

Ideas, suggestions, critique, anything is welcomed. I'd appreciate any additional lines, as I am currently having a major writer's block.

As always, thank you all for taking the time to help me out.
Okay, I already switched some things around, but I still need to figure out where to go from here.
