would tylenol 3 be prescribed for a healing gunshot wound?

I'm working out a scene in something I'm writing in which my character, who happens to be a federal agent, she gets shot in the right bicep, the bullet hits nothing vital and the wound is a through and through. I'm wondering if it would be realistic to have her prescribed tylenol 3's for the pain.

    No. Vicodin at the least.

I dunno. Working in a pharmacy, t3s are usually not that big of a thing. Usually people get them when they get their wisdom teeth pulled.
Maybe percocet, morphine (m-eslon), theres lots of painkillers.

Tylenol with codiene is milder form of narcotic medication. For a gunshot wound realistically something stronger would be prescribed...such as percocet or even morphine.
