I was wondering because I know that virgin mobile used to have Helios on their service, but because of sprint nextels acquisition they were bumped. Would it be possible to get an old helio, take it to a virgin mobile store and have it activated with their service?

The helio was a contract phone through virgin mobile before they switched carriers. So it probably would not work. Call vm and ask them. But I am pretty sure it would not work as they do not have contract phones any more
