atari, nintendo comes to mind, lots of board games, computer games that you bought,
We read books. Not Harry Potter.
They had friends, played outside things like baseball, rode their bikes. Stuff like that.
They actually went to each others houses and talked to each other face to face. They got together at functions, danced, shared food, and told stories. There were people in almost every family that could play the piano and friends and family would gather around it and sing. People wrote letters to each other and it was fast enough. They didn't feel the need to fill in pointless conversations with a lot of useless chatter. Children got together in the neighborhood and rode their bikes, played games, went fishing, and grew up in a community environment. Are we really better off now? I think not.
talk, drink, think. I know that last one is difficult for you.
