KawNinja 250: knees bent 81 degrees, body leaning 28 degrees
Suzuki TU250: knees bent 88 degrees, body leaning 14 degrees
V-Star 250: knees bent 121 degrees, body leaning 3 degrees

Assuming you are 5'8". At 6'0" the Ninja bends your knees 75 degrees, but your longer arms only hold your body back 26 degrees.

Yamaha Virago 250 or Kawasaki Ninja 250?

I just got my license and I want to know if I should start out with a Virago 250 (cruiser) or a Ninja 250 (crotch rocket)

The Ninja, it's upright enough to be a standard which is a good thing.
BUT, go put your butt on both bikes, measure your comfort-zone and ride off a happy camper!
