I recently bought a wireless router. It's not brand new, in fact it looks kind of old. There seems to be a problem with it. I have a DSL which connects this computer to the Internet via ethernet cable, but when I try to connect the DSL to the Router so the Router can output a wireless signal, it doesn't do it. What happens is it powers up, but the WLAN lights are off and a red light with DIAG (which I assume means diagnostics, that there's something wrong with the router) lights up. Can anyone tell me what could possibly be wrong with my router and possible steps to fixing it? It's a Linksys Model BEFW11S4 V.2. There is one other green light that is on that has ACT next to it. I don't know what that means. Any help would be appreciated, I'd really like to use my laptop's wireless card. Am I wiring it wrong? I'm new to wireless so I might be.
