    covering the xbox360 with a sheet? knowing the 360's, i'm amazed the sheet didn't burst into flames.

    That's why the 360 froze in that one demo...because it was covered in sheets.

    many developers dont have dev kits at this point and that is a known fact. it is no suprise that tech demos are being played on pcs since theyre still in development. they simply use adequate hardware on a pc that is relative to the power of the ps3.

    but nothing the world has seen is as powerful as the cell

    the Cell processor dev kits are PCs running Linux, so equipping these with a high power GPU would be a logical way to demo PS3 games.
