I have a question. I've been in battle for a bit, and stolen a few things along the way, and i pickpocketed a few people, but never in the imperial city. And i come to imperial city for the first time, and they say i have a huge bounty, and i cant afford it. I decide to do the jail time because i dont feel like dying. So does every city know everything i do, or did someone catch me that i didnt know about?

ohh fuck me. i made my staff a paralyzing staff. it's still pretty cool, but if i had known about the damage points on destruction spells, i would have gone with that.

how do you turn to the assassination route? My class is actually an assassin.

It's pretty random. I didn't see any until I did Azura's quest, then I just ran into one. They're kind of hard to see in daylight. Just a little yellow sphere.
