Are you kidding? I played JV soccer in HS and I gave up because it was super lame. If you show up you play, there is no competition. The coach was reading "soccer for dummies" on the bench. The schools in Europe are top notch. Most of the players came out of those schools, Ajax youth camp etc... Look at Shevchenko, he came home grown played in Kiev since he was a kid. There is just no such backbone here in the US. I would rather watch paint dry than watch MLS matches.
