    "Application Closed" errors on N95

Hi I've posted about this before. Before doing a firmware update, I would fairly frequently get the error "Application closed. Web n walk. KERN-EXEC 3". Since updating the firmware, this seems to have gone away, but a few times now I have recieved the error "Application Closed. Text message. KERN-EXEC 3". I have never seen this sort of error on a Symbian phone before and I'm beginning to think it could be an actual fault with the phone as opposed to a software problem. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks very much.

That is a memory execution error (usually) caused by programming errors. Is this specific to one application: what applications is this occurring under? There is an outside chance corrupted firmware or bad RAM is causing this, but I would doubt that if the phone is operating more or less correctly otherwise.

I'm going to start noting down which application I'm using when I get the error. This time it was when I went to write a text message. Previously it was always the Web browser. It's almost as if a small section of the phones RAM is corrupt so when it tries to use all the available RAM, a programme fails. I'll give my phone a workout to see if the error is repeatable.
