Recommend some good GC games

It's not even a shooter. It's an Action/Adventure. Just because you have a gun, does not make it a shooter.

Granted, the controls take a bit of getting used to (especially if you're coming into it thinking it's a shooter). But the game excels in pretty much every area...even controls. It's also got an atmosphere, that only a small handful of games in history can rival.

Maybe you didn't give it much of a chance. It won Game of the Year from some places, and was runner up to God of War at others. It definitely doesn't suck.

I've picked up

Mystic Heroes,
Prince of Persia: Darkness Within (because I have PoP: Sands of Time on the PC and PoP: The Two Thrones on the PS2),
Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy,
Star Fox Adventures,
Rogue Squadron 2,
Resident Evil (1).

I'm looking to get Wind Waker ($15 used), Eternal Darkness ($13 used), Tomb Raider Legend (maybe, $20 new), Batos Kaiten 1 ($20 new), and maybe Lost Kingdoms 2 ($10 used). All these games must come with the original case and manuals and be in excellent shape. Otherwise I won't buy them.

I played it for about 2hrs and got bored. Maybe I'll give it another shot.

No kidding. I thought it was a side scroller. I started playing it and wtf is that crap all about. Everytime you want to jump on a gomba, you have to go in some sort of room and take turns with him.

yeah its not a regular mario game... its a turn based (like chrono trigger, etc...) rpg... i normally don't like those.. but I though paper mario did it in a cool way. it starts off not so great, but once you get farther in the game there are some cool options with it
