For me this can be scary. Batteries and chargers are specific to each other. Any mis match can cause over heating and in extreme cases fire.

I'd look elsewhere for both in the same package - batteries and charger sold together. Why take needless chances when these things are so cheap.

Can i recharge Sanyo AA Rechargeable batteries be recharged by other any other

branded charger? I currently own a Canon Camera and it is powered by AA batteries.
While buying the camera, it came with 2 Camelion NiMH 2100mah batteries with a Camelion NiMh AA/AAA/9V Mini travel charger (Single pack).
Recently i too accidently bought a 2 Camelion NiCD 800mah batteries (now regret it as they dont hols charge at all for cameras).
These two pair combinely give me around 140 to 160 HD pics + some 3 to 5 HD videos.

But now recently i heard that Sanyo AA Rechargeable 2700mah batteries are much powerful for cameras. (I live in Chennai, India and so Batteries like vapextech are not available here. Only batteries like Sanyo, camelion, Kodak and sony are available here. Energizers and duracell are rarely available).

So decided to buy 2 more of Sanyos.

I even inquired many shops here, all only have Sanyo batteries but no Sanyo chargers.

My Question is "Can i use my Camelion Mini travel charger to recharge those Sanyo batteries?"

Also, how good are Kodak and Sony AA rechargeable batteries when compared to Sanyos?
Note : Only Sanyo Normal Rechargeable are available here not The Sanyo Enloops.
