    Apps2SD in 2.2 vs. Cyanogen

None of them give percentages, they just tell you how much space is left.

    Apps2SD in 2.2 vs. Cyanogen

I made my ext4 512 as I have read is popular. I don't have a screen grabber so I have:
    SD Total
    3.21GB
    Available
    211 MB
    Secondary:
    Total
    457MB
    Available
    424MB
I do have a lot of apps... Setting>Manage Application: I have 52 items listed.
Did I copy the original SD info back to the wrong partition?

    Apps2SD in 2.2 vs. Cyanogen

I was using Astro to see what might have been taking up space and I realized I had about 10 Nandroid back ups saved. I deleted an bunch and now I have over 2GB free.
    Thanks for your help!

Yes, every nandroid is about 123mb. Glad you have it sorted out. You can get drocap2, screen capture, in the market free, or you can use the sdk which has ddms in the tools that does the same thing.

    Apps2SD in 2.2 vs. Cyanogen

I wouldn't say that's a lot, especially for a Desire. I have more than that on an unrooted G1 and it works absolutely fine, although I do wish it had more space for games. The Desire has over 5x as much RAM, so you should be able to store 200 to 300 apps on a Desire without having to root and using Apps2SD. Apps2SD comes into it's own if you want to have an absolutely obscene amount of apps, or if you have an older phone with far less storage.

I just hope we won't have to do all this partitioning in froyo.

If Google release a phone OS, you can be certain that it will be usable by 99% of the people who buy the phone. It would be suicide for any company to do otherwise. So you can be pretty certain any Apps2SD will be simple to use.

Read the beginning thread, I am a complete idiot and still managed it. It was actually that simple. Sure, you need to be rooted right now to do it but that is simple to... And worth it!
