I know that this forum is for WM, but I'm giving Symbian an honorable mention because it has the same advantages as WM in this regard: I've noticed that when it comes to one of the favorite features of smart-phones, the wifi hotspot feature, WM and Symbian are very compatible with a few of the most popular wifi hotspot software programs out there, like walkinghotspot, joikuspot, and wmwifirouter. As far as I know, in my research, Android is not compatible with these programs without having to hack the phone's software to make it work. This can be a huge risk and can brick your Android phone if you don't know what you're doing.
