The geographic definition of a continent is: "Continents are understood to be large, continuous, discrete masses of land, ideally separated by expanses of water."Europe's claim to continent-hood is that it is seperated from Asia by sea, rivers and mountains. . . blah, blah, blah.OK. . .but India is seperated from Asia by the Himalayas, the king of mountains - to the point you might as well consider it harsher than a body of water. . .yet India is only a "Sub-continent"???If India is a "Sub-continent," how can Europe dare claim to be a continent? It should be a sub-sub-continent.Then there some crap about plates, Europe and Asia are the same and one plate, but India is is on it's own plate. The idea is Europe being it's own continent is due to the influence education instituted post colonialism, the Europeans had a Napolean complex and want to instill that they are their own continent. They are not their own continent, they are part of the Asian continent.Europe is to a continent as Pluto was once a planet.
