I was tuneing up my sons 2004 wrangler sport today, it was purchased about a year ago. it is a 6 cyl, auto, air. it is in really good condition 104,000 mi., i removed the coil bank or strip to get to the plugs and removed them, each one was ngk2fr5n and had gap of over .050 i know that is to large and should only be .035. ive never heard of this plug before looked like it could have been original equipment not sure. has anyone ever heard of this plug with that big of a gap before? one other thing i couldnt figure out how the wires on the end of the coil strip come off to change it. do the wires come off of the end of the strip by firewall or are they attached to something else and have to be disconnected from other end. do they just pull off the end of the coil strip. hope ive explained this good enough dont know any other way to say it. thanks
