Viewing stored .html pages with Blazer?

    Hi,

I've just bought a Palm TX and have never actually owned a Palm before, and have run into a couple of problems. One thing I want to do with the Palm, is view .html files taken form webpages which I've saved to an SD card, with Firefox on my PC, as I'll only very occasionally be using the TX's Wifi, and not for a while yet. But I've hit a bit of a problem, Blazer doesn't seem to have a "Open file" menu option, the way IE or Firefox do, nor, to my surprise, does the Palm seem to come with an Explorer style file manager, with the option to open a file with it's associated application. I've managed to download some free third party file managers, 3XCom, Filez and FileProg. But although they're quite useful, they don't seem to have an support for file associations - although to be honest, I don't even know if Blazer would display a .html file if one was supplied to it, from anywhere but a web connection.

Anyone know if there's a solution to my problem? Can I persuade Blazer to open a local .htm/.html file for viewing? Or will I have to look for a 3rd party html viewer/browser? And if so, are there any good free ones about?

    Thanks in advance, a n00b .

    P.S.
I was also wondering if I might be able to supply Blazer (and maybe other apps) with a file via a "command line" or say like Windows "Run" menu option, e.g. "Blazer hello.htm". Is there any way I can do that with my TX?

I think you have to have Blazer open file:/// or file/// with the full path of the .html file--for example, file///card/documents/something.html . WebPro and nWeb (both by Novarra) have the "Open Card" menu item, but Blazer doesn't.

UniCMD might be able to associate .htm and .html files with Blazer and allow you to open them, and for some reason I think the Palm "Files" app might allow opening files with whatever app(s) are registered with the Exchange Manager for that file type.
