So the painting does not exist??
So the painting does not exist??
K smelly face a kid draws in school is art as far as they are concerned, Art is in the eyes of the person viewing in. One person can see art another trash. Learn not to judge and all will be fine.
I can't stand the popular art of Thomas Kinkcaide: http://www.thomaskinkade.com/magi/servlet/com.asucon.ebiz.catalog.web.tk.CatalogServlet?cata logAction=Product&productId=206053&menuNdx=0.1
Its overly sentimental and trite.
Huh? Can anyone prove a piece of art is good? Good by what standard? I am not sure I could prove I like any particular piece of art. I may like something, but if I tell you I do, can I prove that I mean it? possibly I am saying it just because everyone else does, and I don't wish to appear unsophisticated.
I can know without a doubt what I like, but I can't prove it to anyone, they'll just have to take me at my word.
You are confusing existence with taste. You're really not too bright, are you?
You guys really need to work on your pathetic analogies. Analogies are supposed to be pertinent.
Art is supposed to appeal to the emotions. The same piece of art can have totally different subjective effect on different people, so art is never objectively good or bad.
You evidently do not have kids...
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Art is not bound by religious affiliation though it can be inspired by religion.
You cannot prove a personal opinion. That's why the definition of "opinion" is a statement without evidence.
