i get to part 11-12 and i type this in:
fastboot boot recovery-new.img

than i get the waiting for device in cmd, and in 12 step it says apply update
well there is not way to apply the update?

what do u mean theres no way? pull the battery out and put it back in then press and hold home and power together until u go into recovery

it says waiting for device, and than i do this: Turn off your device and while it is off hold down volume down while pressing power. i get to the white screen with says fastboot usb in red and there are 3 green droids on the bottom with skate boards but it doesnt say anywhere apply update

no thats fastboot

1.connect your phone to the computer
2. on your phone it should say fastboot (or something like that) press back to enter fastboot
3.open up a command prompt on your computer and type



that should do it for step 11

thats what im doing, theres no update for anything >.< to enter fastboot you have to power down the device, press down volume+power rit? thats what it says in the steps

yeah but u already pushed the updates to the sd card so all u have to do is what i just said THEN u turn off your phone again and enter recovery (home+power)
