I see so many people that bitch and moan that they can't afford healthcare - yet they drive around in a couple of leased cars (or at least making payments on) - They have all the latest in technology like cell phones, video games, laptops, big screens. Its all a joke. No self responsibility. Mommy and daddy took care of you and now the government needs to.

theyre not valid because its all just speculation. personal accountability is all good but someone's wellbeing should be a right. im not saying the poor should be handed checks, fuck welfare. if we have national healthcare then welfare should become obsolete as medical would be eradicated. so all the money that funds welfare can fund national healthcare, you wouldnt see a bit more taxation. and the claim that it invites the government to regulate what we put into our bodies is ridiculous not just because we have liberty but because they already do regulate what we put into our bodies. look at our shitty food supply. go to walmart and try to shop for groceries that somebody hasnt had their hands in filling it with preservatives and treated for whatnot. All of those things cause us harm over time, cancer is not natural it comes from the shit they do to our food. Meat is very unhealthy compared to raw natural food but you will never hear about that because theres no money in it so they push meat. its a vicious cycle and it has to stop.

The world isnt as cutthroat as you have been deceived into believing. Our national healthcare system is the result of what happens when you stop questioning authority and start taking their word for it. Only a fool would defend the current system. Only a fool would trust anyone in power.

Doctors spend 12 years of their lives in school and training to attain their position. Most have to take out tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars in student loans to pay for it. After they get out of school, they have to work hard every day at practice, be alert and never have an "off day" because if they slip up somebody could die.

And, somehow, you believe you are entitled to all of that work, all of that hard-earned knowledge and skill that a doctor has attained and you shouldn't have to pay for it. And that if you don't get it, you are being "shortchanged." Apparently, you think that everyone who has toiled and sacrificed to make something of themselves OWES something to you. You have a RIGHT to what they have worked hard to attain, much harder than you've probably worked for anything in your life. All because you say so, because you can't be bothered to take responsibility for your own life, your own health, and your own medical insurance.
