I don't think anyone believes that any candidate from any party is going to be able to do everything they say they want to. Especially in this election. Unfortunately most people are stupid and the election is a big exercise in marketing and neither candidate believes people can handle the whole truth or wants to lose the race by telling it to them during their campaign.
I made my decision based on a lot of different factors. The candidates positions on major issues, but also watching how they reacted to the financial crisis and how they have run their campaigns. I can see who reacts calmly and consults with experts and makes a deliberative and rational response and who reacts flippantly based on emotion and "gut instinct" and I know which shows more wisdom and consciousness.
Right because asking American people to participate in the political process and their own government is wrong?? Another reason I am a firm believer that if you do not vote you cannot complain.
You can take the day off to vote, and your employer may have to pay you for that time off--but it all depends on your state laws. So check it out!
Me? I'll be voting in the morning, and getting paid to do so.
i really dont like either of them but i dont like obama more. the policies he wants to implement will turn this country into crap
And the rest of his supporters don't have jobs...
Wait, which candidate's voters are racist whites and religious hacks?
...as opposed to racist blacks, Che-loving college tards, and potheads.
What's your point?
My point is there should be 3 partys, The no-nothings (aka religious hacks/racists) true conservatives and true liberals
At least 3.
Hell, give us a fucking smorgasboord.
