i'm hvaing the problem of the space bar being the 'insert symbol' menu

cant type in english when A4 is on

You need to install the fonts for Chinese. Go back to page 2 and follow my instruction. All the fonts and software are there.

if you don't know what they are suggesting, then i wouldn't suggest flashing your device.. just install asian fonts or some type of chinese font viewer for S60

Thanks for the tips man. Since I haven't bought my E71, I was wondering if you hack is compatible with fast contact search, i.e., I can type pinyin to locate the contacts with Chinese names. Thanks!
